Horses, cats, cattle, dogs…and even turtles come to the fair. The success of this endeavor is owed a great deal to the parents of the 4-H members, their advisors and the Clallam Country Fair Board. Thank you for making it possible.

The picture just makes me want to pet his nose. Great shot Norma.
je trouve tres belles tes photos en b&w, elles sont tres jolies
I find very beautiful your photographs in b&w, they are very pretty
How exciting – I can visit the fair on all my American friends’ blog sites!!! Your horse is so beautiful – I can almost feel his velvety muzzle. He would look great next to Abraham’s cow!!
What fun – now how can you get some fairy floss to me!!!!
Beautiful horse. One thing I always wonder is how the world looks to a horse with those wide-set eyes. It must be quite a different perspective than we humans have.
Such a beautiful animal, even behind bars! Fairs are so much fun because of the crafts and the animals. Altho interesting, I’ve lost my taste for junk food. But animals such as this one in your beautiful photo I always find appealing. I’m so happy they are alive to delight us.

I missed our Fair this year, sadly. But I heard it was hot here, so maybe it would have been miserable to go. I always love to walk the horse stalls and pet a few noses. So thank you for this cyber stroke.
Lots of animals today. Your horse is just beautiful. Great photo – such symetry with those bars.
Great pictures…I see you labeled the cow picture “hamburger” and that sums up why I stay away from the fair and animals…most the animals just end up on the dinner plate and that’s no fun knowing when you go to visit them!
That horse picture makes me wish though that I was right there to pet him.
wonderful photos! Love the little boy with the turtle. And the white / grey horse is so sweet. Fairs and 4-H — so nostalgic. 🙂
