I like this little plant (“heuchère”, in French) and have several in my garden, one like yours, a red one and another which is darker, purple.
My coralbells are not yet blooming. They do not look at good as your’s because they were frozen back once this spring.
Abraham Lincoln’s kidney stone attack…
I rolled on the floor, puked, screamed, and passed out. When I woke up the neighbor was gone. Brookville Daily Photo
Belles fleurs, ce n’est pas des fleurs, où quand on appuie dessus elles eclatent ?
Beautiful flowers, they are not flowers, where when one supports above they burst?
I love the late afternoon lighting and the dusky colors of the Coralbells. Quite lovely.
I know your coral bells aren’t white but I couldn’t help but think of fairies when I saw your photo. Remember this song?
White coral bells
Upon a slender stalk.
Lily of the valley
deck my garden walk.
Oh, don’t you wish
that you could hear them ring.
That will happen only
when the fairies sing.
It has been a while since I commented however I look at and enjoy your photos daily. Love you (your brother Denton)
