Healthy Families hosted this booth at Kids Day. Rocks were provided and masterpieces were created. One saw lots of parents and grandparents holding on to the paperplates while the rocks dried and the children went on to more booths.

I still have a rock that my daughter made for me when she was 4 or 5. She painted it green and glued cotton balls to it. Then she sprinkled it with glitter. She named it CottonRock. She is 20 now and if she doesn’t see CottonRock she asks where it is! Sounds like Kids Day was fun!
Norma,I still have rocks my children painted,
they are more like pebbles though.
Children can be so creative.
O.K. now I want to paint some rocks!
How cute is this! Love the concept.
What a fun activity. I think both of my kids did them for vacation bible school and scouts. A very inexpensive art project.
