I wanted a picture of the shadow this windmill was castiing on the house, and just as I rounded the corner, the sun went behind a cloud. Rats! One might think why a windmill in the yard…the wind blows, and blows in this part of Texas. I once joked that to live here, women had to own stock in a hairspray company.
And this windmill is not just a decoration?
Does it produce an electricity enough for this house to use?
I have not an idea about these mills. Interesting.
The wind does blow on the great plains and over the prairies, that’s for sure.

What does the windmill power? Does it pump water? Great use of nonpolluting energy.
