I remember this photo and I know the answer. However, as “the enforcer”, I don’t think I am elegible to participate in the game.
I, too, think it’s a door knocker. Is that too obvious a reply–and wrong??

It looks like part of an iron bed head (or foot) to me. However…. my record at guessing these things is abysmal!!
