It started snowing about 11:00 a.m. at my house and the flakes were huge and wet. This view is from my deck toward the raspberries and those mounds you see in the background are my 20 different varieties of lavender. Last year they all made it…I’m hoping so again. If you look close you can see the flakes still coming down. We ended up with about 6 inches on the level at my place.
My original post scheduled for today was also “white”. Check back later in the week to see what I’m talking about.
oh wow! i miss the snow. it’s tough when one ends up living in the tropics. but i don’t miss shovelling the driveway though 🙂
Brrr…that picture makes me want to curl up with some hot cocoa! It has yet to snow here, and I can’t wait for it to start.
Oh! How lovely!!! We never get snow to speak of in Atlanta. If it’s going to be winter (6 weeks max would be nice), then I want SNOW!!! Once a year we get some flakes, everyone rushes to the grocery store and buys up all the food, people freak out and can’t drive, and it melts in a couple of hours! It’s so funny to watch!
I do miss seeing real snow! Thank you!
what is the little red speck on your feeder?
Did your snow stay? We got about 3-4 inches yesterday but it’s pretty much all gone now!
I hope your lavender makes it.
